Hey well first of all thanks for reading this.

If your planning on buying a B.M.X or if you are concidering taking it up first of all you have to consider if you are crazy enough to do it ,or if you like pain.
It can be the nicest feeling when you pull a humongous trick off or it can be the worst feeling when you find your private bits in between your handlebars!
Next you have to consider what kind of style you want to do.There are a few styles around.Would you like me to tell you them all?yes of course you do,well ill tell you all the ones i actually know of,so dont shoot me if i miss any out!

DIRT RACING
This is when a group of crazy competetors hurtle round a mud track at stupid speeds trying to win.
The sort of bike you will need is a fast and light bike,it might sound stupid but two brakes would be helpful. You dont really need to bother about the Giro system that allows your handlebars to spin around freely because quite honestly you wont have time! The price will vary depending on what specification you want

FREESTYLE
This is basically when you construct two rediculously high dirt mounds and jump off one of them and try and do some cool tricks, most people manage to break their necks doing this!
The type of bike you will need is again light, only one brake is needed and giro system would help you perform more tricks.

FLAT LAND RIDING
This is when you find an empty car park and basically doing wiered things with your bike.I dont really know how to explain it.You basically ride the bike any way you can without using the pedals. For this you dont really need brakes but i suppose at least one will do.You certainly need the giro system!
a light frame will help enormously.Again prices will vary depending on what you want.

SKATEPARK RIDING (or whatever its called)
This is where you hi-jack your local skatepark, chuck all the bladers and skateboarders off it and have lots of fun.
the ide
a is to basically jump up and down the ramps moving from section to section performing as many tricks as possible.
You will need a light bike, the giro system and stunt pegs.brakes are always useful so you can do an emergiency stop before crashing into something hard!
prices will vary!

There are a few b.m.x magazines out at the moment which gives you alot of information on the sport. They give you infomation on bikes, accessories and places to ride. There are a few competitions aswell if you feel like entering them to win bikes and holidays and stuff.
There also are sections in the magazines which show you how to maintain your bike and how to do tricks to impress people.
But if you wanna learn from the best then watch t.v programms like extreme on sky, theres always shows on b.m.x'ing and you can learn alot just by watching the professionals, and its also fun watching them fall off lol, actually thats abit cruel 'cos some of em look painful!

At this very moment i do not ride a B.M.X i actually ride a slalom bike. Its a Raleigh Fishbed and its got hydraulic front disc brake and hydraulic rear brake.I use this as a trials bike, but i am going to hopfully get a B.M.X soon and do flatland riding, You can do that anywhere and it looks really cool infront of ure mates lol. I do actually nip down to the little skatepark where i live and I sometimes have a go on me mates bike but i mostly blade.

If you can ever get down or up to spaldin in lincolnshire there is a nice dirt track which will support freestyle or dirt racing.

If you want to know more about B.M.Xing then rather saying that my article thing is rubbish give me some feedback and i will include it in my writing!

Can I plz have lil crown??
